“Pulling Strings” Sculptures by Claire Oswalt

As a child I was fascinated with marionettes.  I must have been a persuasive 9-year-old, because I was able to talk my way into an internship with the incomparable Tom Tichenor who operated a puppet theatre at our local, public library.   Without question, my jobs have been all downhill from there.

The production I worked on was Jack and the Beanstalk.  I sure wish I had some magic beans to trade for one of artist Claire Oswalt’s pieces.
