“Confettios” Paintings by Martina Nehrling

2 Aug

Remember the printed shoelace craze?  Everyone had hearts, frogs, whales, clovers, and jack-o-lanterns on their laces.  It looked like a bowl of Lucky Charms having a fight on your Tretorns.  What were we thinking?  How was that fashion?  I’m dubious, but maybe they will come back around with Peter Pan collars, painters pants, and interchangeable button-on purse covers from Papagallo.  Just thinking about it makes me want to needlepoint a tennis racket cover!

Martina Nehrling’s happy paintings remind me of those Vera-colored days.  Pass the Tang.

These make me want to eat ice cream with jimmies. Can you tell I have a sweet tooth?
Still loving this blog Betsy. Thanks so much!
