“In Plain Site” Photography by Liu Bolin

I’m a huge nature program junkie.  The sheer variety of flora and fauna makes my head spin.  I’m especially fascinated by adaptation and how darn smart our DNA can be.  Animals that are able to camouflage themselves are particularly cunning.  For instance, the leaf butterfly I’ve pictured below is the Bob Mackie of the forest.

Artist Liu Bolin also knows how to blend into the background.  His extraordinary photographs invite us to look a bit closer..
