“Flocked” Torn Paper Sculptures by Anna-Wili Highfield

12 Oct

Three Arched Rocks, off the coast of Oregon, boasts the most dense bird population on earth.  For reasons no one can explain, it is the breeding ground for the Tufted Puffin as well as the Common Murre.  One can think of it as the Sandels Resort of the ornithological world.

I’m really torn between my love of Anna-Wili Highfield’s work and the real thing.
