“Bonnaroo” Paintings by Melissa Chandon
My husband, who is in line for sainthood, has taken my teenage children to the rocking sea of humanity known as Bonnaroo. This afternoon they set up camp on the grounds in Manchester, Tennessee amid RV’s, campers, cars, and Lord knows what other contraptions. They are settled in for a three-day listening tour of all that is music.
His charge: bring everyone home with their hearing intact. I have an allergy to crowds so I stayed home for health reasons. I’ll keep everyone posted as the festival progresses.
Artist Melissa Chandon paints a parking lot of transportation options, none of which suit me past midnight. Rock on.
