My husband and I attended a superfantabulous party last night at the Frist Center for the Visual Arts. The theme mirrored the featured exhibit entitled “Warhol Live” so the vibe was very Studio 54. There is no doubt Andy saw the world through his own lens.
Artist DevorahSperber turns it all upside down with her amazing sculptures. Made from spools of thread, and viewed through orbs, her work demands some inverted thinking. The video at the bottom of this post is worth a watch.
