“Thirsty” Sculptures by Sang-Sik Hong

I’m in New York with my friend Sue, a textile designer.  She is showing her FABULOUS collection of turkish towels at the New York International Gift Market.  Hand-loomed, eco-friendly, and very absorbent, these beautiful linens are the modern replacement for terry.  You’re going to see them everywhere this spring…from bath to body to beach!

Speaking of thirsty things, Sang Sik Hong’s sculptures made completely of plastic drinking straws are sure to soak up some attention.
