“The Good China” Ceramic Sculptures by Eva Hild

I’m in a cooking rut.  Like many mothers of teenagers, I spend most of  my culinary efforts on “maintenance food”.  By this, I mean boring and supported by sauces from bottles.  What I need is a curated tour of Whole Foods with someone who can jazz things up a little.  Actually, I’d just like  for someone to fill up my basket, hand me the recipes, and give me a hug.  Once I get in front of the stove at home, I’m golden.  It is all of the prep and thought beforehand that makes me lose my appetite.

I’m crazy for what Eva Hild serves up with ceramic.  Organic and satisfying.

  1. They do look a bit like pasts shells. But very beautifully crafted ones none the less.

  2. Really, really cool. They look like bones from the craziest, most artistic-looking animal one can imagine. I would love to see them in person. Some look almost translucent. Thanks for sharing!
