“Bread, Milk, and Toilet Paper” Paintings by Matthew Davis

It has been such a mild winter. So, I was surprised when my husband told me that there is a 90% chance of snow, tonight.     Around here, the  word “snow” is synomous with “tornado”, “swine flu outbreak, and “air raid”.  Grocery stores will be packed, and the schools will be cancelled in anticipation.   Never mind the fact that there is no expected accumulation.

Old man winter may be finally visiting us, but my mind is focused on summer.  Berlin-based artist Matthew Davis takes me there with his wonderful oils.
