I love it when artists send me jpegs of their work. Sometimes I am able to incorporate it into the blog immediately while other times I have to keep them in my files for just the right posting moment. Today’s artist struck the right note as I am staying at the Hard Rock resort in the Dominican Republic. I’m surrounded by rock memorabilia including crystal studded Cadillacs and a guitar museum that would make Madame Tussaud weep.

“What’shisname” has a very talented way of incorporating the musicians’ most identifiable features into the paint blot. I am impressed. I paint portraits, and know how difficult this can be!
