Yes, it looks like a first grader could have done it…if she were a prodigy! Irish artist Genieve Figgis is globbing her paint all over the emerging artist community and the response is affirmative. Macabre and beautiful, the viewer is left to put it into focus for themselves.

very surreal. Makes me think of Munch’s “The Scream” I think because they are so vertical and elastic. Also kind of like the manipulated polaroids. Love the ghost and the “calling” girl. cool find.
