About

From my point of view, the world is one big art show.  I created the blog Artstormer.com in 2011 to chronicle my interest in visual arts.  At this time over 550 artists have been featured on the site which has been visited by over 300,000 unique visitors.  Presenting the work of emerging and established artists from around the globe and across many disciplines is the mission of this endeavor.  Discovering talent all over the internet and by visiting fairs such as SCOPE, PULSE, ART MIAMI, ART BASEL, and countless galleries and studios is an endless source of fun.   For my followers, I encourage you to be confident supporters of the arts.  And I beg of you, do NOT purchase art because it will match your sofa.

Thank you for visiting my blog.

  3. Hi Betsy,
I met you at the Artclectic show. You mentioned I could send you images of my art for your site. (I was the artist with lots of realistic neon, nostalgic toys etc.) How do I send that to you?

  4. I just discover your blog and I’m loving it already! Is very amazing, well done!
I think art is as important as you say, keep it up 🙂

  5. Betsy,

This is my second viewing of your blog and I find it refreshingly inviting! Thanks for culling some of the more unusual and dynamic artists from around the globe…greatly appreciated! Here’ s my mini review response to this current showing.

    With gratitude, Deborah

“This series is a curious blend of a real and imaginative depiction of the notion of “summer reading”. Ekaterina’s blend of media and time portrays a period when summer reading and summer itself was a far distant season for romance, vacation family — nuclear, Norman ,Rockwell ish times and simple page turning. Hers is an intriguing series and hearkens us back to a distant memory, while propelling us forward with renewed imaginings of our own seasons and ‘tomes of leaves’. This is an installation worth experiencing up close and personal! “

  6. The range of queries could possibly differ and they are frequently of
a individual nature, due to the fact our likes and dislike are anticipated to represent the taste of the demography
to which we belong. Your professor might schedule a night exam, or possibly a sudden paper which needs to be performed on short notice,
of course, if you have to perform generally how will you spend interest to
    your schoolwork?

  7. Hi Betsy

I love your description above – anyone who knows that Art is not required to match the sofa has taste to burn!
Look forward to seeing more of what catches your eye!
    Deirdre

  20. Thank you. Your site is great. Have added it to my list on the site. Who are a few artist you would like me to consider posting? There is a great variety at your wonderful gallery. B

  21. Betsy,

I have been following your blog for several months and love your picks….wonderful art. I have an art gallery (www.patricialaddcarega.com) in Center Sandwich, NH and share your enthusiasm for the extraordinary creativity that is out there. Just wanted to say thanks for the great job you are doing. Patricia

  22. I can’t tell you how excited I am that you like my work, Betsy! I will be sending photos soon – the hard part is choosing eight photos from the thousands that I like so much. Thank you for ArtStormer and thank you for including my work!

  23. Betsy:
I am addicted to Artstormer! I will share it w/ my friends and they’ll love me for it! Thank you for putting together the whole package. Please visit my site. I know you will really like my work. You have great vision!
    Mary

  24. Betsy, something wonderful for you:

The collection at Bernice Steinbaum Gallery
    http://bernicesteinbaumgallery.com

I especially like the exquisite detaile in the work of Carol Prusa/ she does silverpoint anemone/ lacy looking globes –this gallery has really great artwork!

  25. I’m glad you are encouraged. And you know Betsy, come to think of it, I have a friend whose blog posts can be made to go directly to a person’s FB wall, automatically every issue. If you offered that feature, I hope I haven’t overlooked it here somewhere, I would love to have that.

  26. I allow you to sidetrack me almost everyday. You present just enough to get me following down paths looking for more of the artists’ images.. and bio notes.. and I love the galleries that you have brought to my attention. But if I choose to use some self-restraint–each day’s post, alone, is very satisfying.

Reposting to my FB pages has stimulated my friends to break out in comments. And. You inspire me to reach farther in my own art. Go Betsy!

  27. What a fabulous blog you have created here! I usually just look and never read much on the art blogs I troll but you have a wonderful way of introducing your artists with anicdotal seques (is that a thing?). You’re like a news anchor – how in the world do you come up with them?! Keep up the good work – I can’t pull myself away.

  28. Betsy – glad you liked the lightpaintings. don’t know where you are located but there are two exhibits going on now. There is an 80′ lightpainting at the Boise Art Museum up through April 17, and a major show of lightpaintings at the Naples Museum of Art through June 30th. Hope you get to see one of them. Stephen

  29. Great site. So glad you found me. I’ve added you to our list of galleries. I love Carroll Cloar and many of the artists you represent. Will plan to blog about one.

  30. Cool site! You’ve got great taste. I hope you’ll check out our gallery – we’re getting ready for a Benini exhibition and then a Best of the South exhibition. If you want to be on our mailing list, email me.

    Best regards,
    Annamary
