“Blindside” Paintings by Gregory Thielker

Regrettably, almost over night, my eyesight has failed me.  It is beyond annoying.  I can’t see any typeface below a 20 size font unless the lighting is just right.   This means that everything including phonebooks, food packaging, medicine bottles, warning labels and trashy novels require 1.50+ reading glasses.   Can’t the AARP solve this?

Some days it really does feel like I’m operating my life through the driving rain.  Artist Gregory Theilker doesn’t mind the blur.

Current exhibition: Arlington Art Center, Washington, D.C.

  1. Have been away from my laptop a few days and had to get straight here to catch up…the beauty, wonder and whimsy you offer up has become essential to me, and the fact that you keep this going EVERY DAY is astonishing. Here’s to your hard work and great eye!
