“Dreamcatcher” Photography by Mary E. Barnes
This weekend is the American Artisan Fair in Nashville. I’m sure there will be enough pottery, weaving, and wood carving to satisfy my inner crafter. Less conventional items such as the “dream catchers” and healing crystals flummox me. I don’t really see how a rock can make me feel better – unless, of course, it’s set in platinum.
Photographer Mary E. Barnes captures fractured light through prisms. Her ultimate close ups take me far away.
Mary, absolutely the most beautiful and mezmerizing abstract photographic art that I have ever seen!!!
I love your work!
Betsy ~ Thanks so much for featuring my Fractured and Dangerous Photographic Art on ArtStormer today. You are a true patron of art and of artists!
Unbelievable abstract photos. Each time I look I become more hypnotized. Each time I look something different is seen.
Mary this stuff is fascinating…JY
Great photos. Before this I never saw a photo that could be called abstract that contains so many different little parts that could be interpreted differently. Each time I look at them I am hypnotized. I also like the other work you have on your Website.
Truly some mesmerizing photographs; Visually stunning. I consider her art to be the works of an Artist more so, than a Photographer. Really well done!
Mary E Barnes is so talented I love her Fractured and Dangerous sight on MaryEBarns.com I look at her photographs often and always find something new in each one.
