So far, it has been the summer of babies.  My brother-in-law and his wife just had a precious little girl, Jackson (I’m the godmother!) and our cousins had TWINS (James and Libby)!  Yesterday I drove through the park on my way home and saw a fawn, who could not have been older than a week, trailing after his momma.  “Little” life is so fragile and precious, which, in truth, is the same as “big” life if we slow down long enought to recognize it.

The work of artist Rop Van Mierlo   delights me.  These watercolors are from a book he published, which I believe is a limited edition but still available.  Talk to the animals!
