“Wiped Out” Abstract Paintings by Anders Oinonen

I have a tendency to become antsy on Sunday afternoons unless someone does a pretty good job of distracting me.   It’s not that I think the fourth commandment is optional, but, when left unsupervised, I begin reviewing my to-do list.  This just winds me up.  By Monday morning, I have already gone through a rigorous mental rehearsal of the upcoming week.  It takes a giant mug of high voltage coffee to get me up and ready for the real thing.

The painting above looks like me, pre-caffeine.

I’m drawn towards Canadian artist Anders Oinonen‘s genius use of color.

  1. This is a wonderful site! I love all of your comments but especially the one for Wiped Out which hits close to home for this coffee addict! I want one of Anders paintings for my office…they are mood provoking and beautiful. I look forward to continuing to follow both your blog and the fabulous artists you always find.
