“Vacation” Paintings by Stephen Coyle
I’ve learned the difference between a trip and a vacation. A vacation requires sunscreen. A trip involves guidebooks, schedules, walking shoes, reservations and Shutterfly documentation. In other words, you know you’ve taken a trip if you get back and feel like you need a vacation.
Artist Stephen Coyle is no beach bum. His paintings make me feel the sand between my toes.
Gallery representation: Chase Young Gallery and Trudy Labell Fine Art
And just for fun, the song “Vacation” from the 1982 Tony Award nominated musical, “Pump Boys and Dinettes” (Song is 1:54, video a bit longer, click on far left button at bottom of video to stop…)
Love it
I took a trip. I want to be in the floating chair. I need a vacation.
I can almost feel the heat of the sun. I love these paintings.
