“Tryptophan Haze” Sculptures by Gregory J. Whyte
Our family is spending Thanksgiving in Manhattan this year, squatting at my sisters’ house. We are glomming on to her wonderful friends, and even managed to wangle an invite this morning to watch the Macy’s parade from a beautiful apartment on Central Park West. We were eye level with all of the flying Disney characters and also had a great view of the majorettes. Great American fun.
The added bonus was meeting emerging artist Greg Whyte, a Wall Street research analyst turned sculptor. The first piece shown is entitled “reclining figure” which I plan to be post-turkey this evening. However, there is nothing sleepy about his work!
