“Pop Top” Bottle Cap Portraits by Molly Bright
The Coca Cola Company was founded in Atlanta, Georgia, making the South the birthplace of carbonated sugar addiction. Here, it is perfectly normal to start your day with either a cup of coffee or a Diet Coke over ice. Same effect. The taxonomy of flavored fizz is broken down into two sub-species; Coke and Sprite. “Coke” means anything in the brownish family (Tab, RC, Dr. Pepper, Mr. Pibb, Diet Rite, even Pepsi). “Sprite” generally means anything “clear” (7UP, Mellow Yellow, Mountain Dew, Sundrop, Fresca, and Nehi grape). Whatever your choice, it’s the perfect complement to a Moon Pie.
