“Bloom” Paper Constructions by Anne Ten Donkelaar
I’m placing my spring bulb order today. It is one big exercise in delayed gratification.
Anne Ten Donkelaar finds other ways to enjoy the garden. Her meticulous cutouts are pinned to paper so that they cast gorgeous shadows below. Fantasy arrangements. Sumptuous!

Not usually a flower-art person, but these are absolutely stunning; and that’s even before you think about the time and detail involved in the creation!

The softness and dimensions created here are stunning. Reminds me of a particular Indian artist who uses cut tissue paper, but I can’t think of her name at the moment.
Thanks Betsu! Wonderful things! The broken butterflies on her website were pretty wonderful also.
Your work is extraordinary and beautiful. Made my break from cleaning the attic when I was wishing I could be in my studio making paper art.
How utterly creative but it does remind me of the flower fairies that Brooksie created.
