“Pearl Divers” Weird and Wonderful Watercolors by Steve Garrison
Watercolor artist Steve Garrison imagines a fresh-water mermaid. His painted ladies have scales and spots and an occasional well-placed fin.
On another shore, Ama, are Japanese divers famous for collecting pearls. The majority of ama are women. Japanese tradition holds that the practice of ama may be 2,000 years old.[1] Traditionally, and even as recently as the 1960s, ama dove wearing only a loincloth. Even in modern times, ama dive without scuba gear or air tanks, making them a traditional sort of free-diver.

http://www.artwanted.com/imageview.cfm?ID=1223972&IRV=1 Try this link…it is the same artist….these are new pieces so perhaps that is why as many of his older work is more traditional..see if this link doesn’t help and thank you for commenting!
Cool work…! But it doesn’t seem to be by Steve Garrison. At least, the link you give doesn’t take one to more like this. And the signatures here don’t match Garrison’s at behance. So, who did these?
