I’m in New York this week with my fantastic garden club.  We’ve toured the High Line and some glorious trails in Central Park.  Spring is finally here and everything is about to burst!  Photographer Fong Qi Wei knows the feeling and expresses it with his series of Exploded Flowers.  Reminiscent of exploding fireworks, it’s fascinating to see the radial footprints each flower makes relative to the size of its actual bloom. The series placed second in the 2012 International Photography Awards. You can see more from the series on Wei’s website and a number of limited edition prints are available here. (viadesignboom)
