I miss the  Opryland Theme Park.  Growing up, we spent many a summer sweating there.  This was no problem, of course, because if you got too hot you could just ride the Flume Zoom to cool off, and keep moving.  Or buy a guitar bar.  The rides had great names like, Timber Topper, Grizzly River Rampage, and the penultimate, Wabash Cannonball.  The latter was the latest in roller coaster technology and actually turned you “upside down”. Twice.   This was beyond cool and before anyone had ever heard of a bungee jump.

There was an entire section devoted to games which were impossible to win, like Skee Ball.  Artist, John Gibson makes me still want to play.
