“Snag” Drawings in Pen by Steven Vasquez Lopez

I got a bee in my bonnet at 10 p.m. last night to make a jello mold.  I’m not sure what triggered it.  Google helped a lot, as I was able to find a recipe that could incorporate some of my pantry orphans (coconut milk, sweetened condensed milk, and nutmeg…oh yeah, rum).  This was one time I was glad I couldn’t see well enough to note the dates on the cans…

I held my breath as I opened the fridge this morning.  Success!  The trick was removing it from the intricate Williams Sonoma bundt cake pan.  Fortunately, I jiggled it out without incident.

Artist Steven Vasquez Lopez doesn’t hit any “real” snags with his delightful works in pen.  They really gel.

  1. Thanks to my canine companions, I recognize those screened patterns in my porch doors; too bad they aren’t the same colors!

  2. Those are all really pretty. You might also like an artist called Caetano de Almeida who is represented by Eleven Rivington.
