“Tower Power” Photography by Bryan Whitney
The search for Malaysian Flight 370 has me flummoxed. How can a jumbo jet just “disappear”? I’m recognizing that we are still using fairly crude tools for transmitting critical information.
Bryan Whitney’s “XRay” photography finds signal in the noise. His radio and cell tower series is appropriately large in scale. I was prompted to learn more about the above subject as it is a Nashville icon. Manufactured by “Blaw-Knox”, the WSM tower forever changed music as it was from here that a little barn dance show began its broadcast life in the 1930’s. You know it today as the Grand Ole Opry, the longest continual show in radio history. Please read more about it here.
