Tonight is the fund raiser for my garden club.  Proceeds go to support the Howe Garden at Cheekwood here in Nashville.  If you are from out of town and reading this post, put a visit to this gorgeous botanical garden on your bucket list.

Our club is dynamic, devoted, and traditional.     For “zone meetings” and flower shows it is as much fun to view the gorgeous collections of silk scarves as it is to see the blooming “live” specimens.   I’m sure many of us will “tie one on” tonight as we bid on  wildflowers at our annual auction.

Photographer Martin Klimas photographs his own arrangements of vintage silk scarves to capture the genius of designs.  At the bottom of this post and on his website you can also see his spectacular “shattered flower” series.

Be outside.  It is finally warm enough.
