“Mid-Life Crisis” Works by Hunt Rettig
There is a possibility (slight) that I’m having a mid-life crisis. Case in point, today I went to the Christmas tree lot and boldly plunked down an embarrasing amount of green for my greens. But they aren’t going to be green. They are going to be WHITE. That’s right, I bought a FLOCKED tree. Please don’t email me with an eco-lecture. I know, I know. But cut me some slack, I’m suffering here! My children flew the nest so I’m rebuilding.
Balancing this announcement I present the work of Hunt Rettig. You may recall he was one of my earliest posts. While things around here are a-changin’ I remain devoted to his amazing creations.

I totally dig it.
I love that you bought a white flocked tree and I know it will be one of the most beautifully decorated trees, knowing you.
Good for you my friend,
xoxo
I wanna see it!! I bet it is pretty! Love Hunt’s work.
I trump that– bought a big old gold glittery pre-lit tree from Frontgate. No shame. None at all.
Upside too. Flame retardant. Important if this has been an issue in one’s life. -PP
We got a flocked tree too Betsy!! Does that mean I’m having a mid-life crisis? Thanks for this great post. xo
