“Tad Talk” Paintings by Tad Lauritzen Wright
I’m often asked “Where do you find all of the artist you feature on Artstormer?” The answer is, “everywhere”. I’ve done some serious internet trolling in the past and found some pretty good sources for my art addiction. But I will let you in on one of my sources. Each quarter “New American Paintings” is published by The Open Studios Press and mailed (yes, USPO) to my house. These are collectible volumes and chronicle a quarterly competition between emerging artists. For $89 per year you can receive 6 beautiful editions.
So here is the fun part. Today’s featured artist, Tad Lauritzen Wright has made the COVER of “New American Paintings” not once, not twice, but THREE times! And I will be moderating a talk with him at David Lusk Gallery in Nashville this Saturday. Plus there is food.
Here are the deets:
Please join us this Saturday morning at DLG-Nashville for a TAD TALK.
In conjunction with Tad Lauritzen Wright’s exhibition, Instructions Included, Betsy Wills of Artstormer.com will help us navigate the obstacle course of creativity that is Tad’s mind and artwork.
Doors open at 11, talk begins at 11:30. Treats will be provided by our neighbor, Dozen Bakery.
See ya’ll then!
