Here is a bit of optimism.  I saw my first bluebird of the season yesterday.  The electric plumage wasn’t difficult to spot against the grey sky that has hovered over Nashville since October.

Kate MccGwire’s sinuous sculptures will make your heart soar.  Sure, she works on the fly but this isn’t a woman who just “wings it.”
