Tennessee Triennial and Paintings by David Onri Anderson

Essence of Raspberry
Last night I attended the public launch of the Tennessee Triennial which begins on February 5, 2021, The amazing and dedicated Andrea Zieher, cofounder of New York’s ZieherSmith gallery, leads the effort which is produced by the new nonprofit organization Tri-Star Arts. Such talent has attracted the likes of Lauren Haynes of Crystal Bridges Museum of American Art to organize what will be a landmark event and create a lasting buzz in the contemporary art scene statewide. Long overdue!

Featured last night were four artists, one of whom represents some CORE talent in the state. David Onri Anderson paints in a trippy, mesmerizing style. You can find his work at David Lusk Gallery. I recommend you move quickly.
