“Ready, Fire, Aim” – The Paintings of Shannon Cannings

I understand an awful lot of people are packing heat these days, but you can just be glad I’m not one of them.

For one thing, I’m right-eyed and left-handed. Not the optimal combo. Secondly, I’m constantly misplacing things. My tombstone is going to be inscribed with, “Where is my purse?” so keeping up with a firearm would be pretty much out of the question. Would hate to leave it somewhere. Most importantly, I’m not that fond of following rules, and thankfully, there are a lot of them in gun safety.
