She would bring home clay sets of perfectly formed dentures from art class making me soar with joy that she might be a natural-born orthodontist or periodontal surgeon. I’ve urged her to consider it but, as time has passed, realized she is likely to make a career decision on her own…
The relatively recent history of dentistry is a fascinating read. For now, we are all very lucky to be living in the wonder era of amalgam fillings.
